Hey, I'm wondering if anyone had experience with ETS service of rescoring speaking or writing sections? I'm interested in outcomes, i.e. usually higher or lower and score change in percentage against original assessment.
They charge $80 a section which is really expensive, and for both sections it constitutes the fee for taking the test.

Do it! I've never met anyone who had the test re-scored and I'm very interested in knowing if it actually changed anything.

Um, I guess I'm just hoping that you will spend the money so I can learn something. I'm a jerk. :)

But really... does anyone here have any experience with re-scoring the test?

Well, I've browsed the web and found this thread with useful comments - http://www.urch.com/forums/toefl-speaki ... ing-3.html.
I am doubtful about my speaking score since I listened to sample responses provided by ETS and having earned 4 and I strongly disagree that they are any better than the responses I gave. So I'll probably go with speaking section re-scoring at least for an experience's sake. Though I'm doubtful it will make any difference.
