Took GMAT on 04/15 720! (Q-46 V-42) [#permalink] New post 19 Apr 2004, 11:32
Hi,
I'm freakin' stoked about my score!

Sorry for not posting my score last time, I was contemplating writing a masterpiece of a post and didn't have time for that.

The most helpful thing I gained from this forum was from the stories about everyone's GMAT experience (both good and bad) so I want to write about the whole thing. I'm on the road so have no time for that now, but I'll give a detailed account after 04/27.

The test was easier than I thought it was going to be given some of the posts on this site. Don't freak about it, it's only a test. We've all taken hundreds of tests, right?

For me, getting the timing down in practice tests was the biggest help.

More later, and best of luck to everyone!

Regards,
Jumbee

Wow! Great score! Congrats and good luck on the applications!

What impresses me even more is how much you rocked the Verbal! :punk

Whenever you get time to elaborate, I'd sure be interested to know how you did it!

yeah, 42V is amazing. so what's your secret? did you learn every grammar rules that ever existed to get all the SC right. i'm hovering around 36V. RC really make or break my Verbal score because if it's an interesting article then i get most of the questions right but if it's a boring article i get most of it wrong. so i guess on test day, just pray to god you're lucky and get interesting articles.
