Ok guys, I am new here as I have been doing quite a bit of internet research in the past couple of weeks pertaining to graduate schools and the gmat. I am currently a 1st semester senior, but I would prefer to study and eventually take the gmat in the next couple of months instead of having it hang over my head during graduation. Anyway, I just downloaded the GMATPrep software from mba.com and I took the 1st practice test. I read a lot of advice recommending to take 1 practice test before even beginning to start studying, to know where I fit in and to grasp my strengths and weaknesses. After taking the test, on the quant my result was
19 incorrect out of 37 and on the verbal my result was
17 incorrect out of 41 . Now before taking this test, I did not prepare for this practice exam even for one second, with that said what do you guys make of my score?
I am shooting for at least a 605 on the gmat , how much work ahead is needed given my goal and my practice exam test. Is there a plan any of you guys can recommend me for how I can achieve my goal? Right now in my possession I have purchased the
Arco/Peterson GRE/GMAT Math Review 6th edition,
the Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook and the
Official Guide for the GMAT Review 12th edition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You !
