Hi Guys,

I took the test last week. Got a 640. Not bad for three and a half months preparation I think, especially since I had to start from scratch (basics).

Some thoughts on the exam,

Quant is certainly much tougher than the PP. This could be because of the time pressure and also because most of the question types are new.

Verbal was also quite tough especially SC.

My advice to test takers,

Do not spend more than 3 minutes on a question. I did this and paid for it. I spent almost 8 mins on two questions which spelled my doom in Quant. As mentioned somewhere in this site if you do not get it in three minutes it is not worth pursuing the question. Take a guess and move on.

DS was especially hard and tricky. Watch out.

I say two bold faced CR questions. More than three combinations and probability questions. Four essays.
