Top business schools most relaxed about a low GMAT [#permalink] New post 18 Jun 2012, 02:09
Hi Guys,

We all have come across top schools in the top 15-17 range who are relaxed about a low GPA but are there any schools in the top cluster of 15-17 who are relaxed about a low GMAT (620-660 RANGE).

I am a 24 year old Indian male. I have a good profile except my GMAT score which is 650. Good undergrad, masters in a foreign uni, front end investment banking experience, micro-finance experience and hopefully good recos.
I want to only apply in the top 15-17 bracket and certainly want to include schools who except kids with lower GMAT than their median/average score.

Please people. Help me out. Put yourself in my shoes and figure out which schools you might target.

Hoping to have a good discussion here courtesy gmatclub.com...cheers

Here is a good read: http://poetsandquants.com/2011/11/02/ho ... -overcome/

In addition to that, there is this table here http://poetsandquants.com/2012/03/27/gp ... -get-in/2/ .
From the looks of of the 10-90% ranges, there is Fuqua, Johnson, Tepper, Goizueta, and Kelly..

That said - why not retest? the GMAT is one thing you can control. Getting over the 700 barrier will open a lot more doors for you.

I agree, considering the time of year it is... retake. Get that 700 and don't make the adcoms question your GMAT. But the GMAT isn't everything, but it is something you can help control.
