Top laptop/gym bags for business school? [#permalink]
10 Aug 2010, 11:11
So this fall it's back to school full time, and my question is what does everyone use for a laptop and gym bag? I'm hoping to find one that will also fit nominal books/papers/folders as well as gym clothes. Wishful thinking? Perhaps, but I'd rather not carry two seperate bags around campus.

Sounds like you should just get one bag, because you don't want 2 bags. is this that hard of a decision?

No such thing. It depends on you but I ended up buying more than one bag. When school started, I bought a backpack for the first time since junior high school. http://www.amazon.com/North-Face-Backpa ... B003FYI7LCJerz told me that backpacks aren't "cool" and that I should get a messenger bag instead. I told him that I think I will go with the backpack.... Then, during the semester, I ended up buying a messenger bag because well, I traditionally just like messenger bags more.... (wipe that grin off your face Jerz...you are not always right) http://www.amazon.com/Ben-Sherman-Wet-L ... 184&sr=1-4Then during the recruiting process, I realized that I needed another bag so I ended up getting this bag... http://www.luggageonline.com/product.cf ... =514705446Then in an effort to find THE BAG of all the bags out there, that would fit everything, I ended up buying this last week.. http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3012267?cm_ ... erralID=NANeedless to say: 1) I buy way too many bags for a guy... 2) I have a feeling I will end up buying another bag in the future.... I need to save myself from...........myself?

Ok I guess I could be more productive in my response - sorry.
I am using a north face backpack with two areas and a net that expands if you have to hold something extra like shoes or gym clothes as a last resort. I also have a tumi shoulder bag that is really really durable. That cost 150 and I love it, would never buy the jack spade thing, you get good construction but not 250 good. I have other things to spend on like a smaller student loan.
I also have a "bank canvas" bag from the analyst days for gym clothes. Don't have any need at all to go more fashionable or get a status symbol.

Display your purse in the home as a piece of art when not carrying it along with you as a trend statement. You may want to consider purchasing western type hooks to hang your handbag on by the front door or even setting your own bag in your rustic side table the clothes airer. A well made leather purse can become a buddy for life.Your love of the southwest and american items can easily flow to your attire and add-ons. You can carry your unique sense of style with you on the go by purchasing a western tooled leather-based purse.

Is it a tough decision to make? But anyways nautica bookbag will be good, it has sections for laptop and books, would cost around $25.
