Hi

I will be taking GMAT in the coming month. Though i prefer doing MBA from US, i have been gathering more information about B-Schools in UK and also in Australia. Would be great if you could let me know the top schools in UK and also in Australia and also the future prospect after MBA.

Cheers 8-)

"Top School" vary somewhat depending on what you want to do. In general, and this may not be true for you, the top school in the UK is LBS. I am not familiar with the Australian programs.

A good place to start your research would be either the Businessweek or Financial Times web sites. Both have extensive information on the different programs and a ranking of the programs.

As I have saidbefore many times, the rankings are a good place to start your research, but a terrible place to end it. The rankings are surveys and data points; they are not objective, cold reflections (or determinants) of educational quality.

Some commentators also hold Oxford, Cambridge,Cranfield and Henley in high regard.

If you are considering programs in Australia and the UK, I would also consider programs in Canada. Canada has several highly regarded programs including those at Toronto, York, Queen's, and Western Ontario.

Best,

Hjort
