Hi, all. I am from Turkey and I took the TOEFL test required for application for an MBA program in the US. Here is the split of my score:

Overal 106. (R28 L29 S20 W29)

I believe 106 is not a bad score but 20 in speaking is a quite low score.

I am applying to schools like UCLA, Carnegie Mellon, Yale and MIT. So, do you think that my application for these schools is going to be hurt only because I got 20 in speaking? I am quite late to retake the test. Am I going to lose a whole year to re-apply?

Hi! have you seen this post? toefl-score-requirements-for-most-popular-schools-80110.html

Many schools will take 105 or 100, so you should be fine with 106.
Toefl usually is a pass/fail and score does not matter as long as you meet the min requirement, you are fine.

Good Luck!
