Re: Transforming Your Recommenders Into Brand Champions:MBA Tour [#permalink]
Interesting article - I know (going into this process) that I'm going to run into the problem that none of my recommenders have MBAs. They understand the value, just chose not to get it themselves. I'm hoping the prep packet I make for them will contain more than sufficient information about each program, why I'm interested and what I hope to get out of it to compensate. :)

Dont underestimate the value of a great recommendation. Make sure you give them at least a month to do it...I know more than a few people who waited too long and either had people say they didnt have time or most likely rushed it. I would say once you have your finalized list of schools and all the materials available (mid to late august) give it to them.

I am thinking of applying 4-5 schools throughout 1st and 2nd round.

Would that be too much to ask to one recommender?

I think once you apply to 2-3 schools, they can pretty much use the same content just by adjusting according to school.

Is it fine if i get a both the recommendations from the same company?? Are there any drawbacks?
