Bad news it seems. And extremely dissapointing for me - 5 apps and not even s ingle interview it seems. F**k Hey str1der, hang in there. I already have dings from HBS and Booth and yet to hear from tuck and Yale who have been taking out invites for the past 3 weeks. Wharton will most probably follow HBS and Booth. Only interview was with a Kellogg alumni in Pakistan that hardly matters. Things will improve for both of us, I know.Just wait ...

Is this with respect to the Delhi event on 9th? I am in Mumbai and the event's here on 14th - hoping something comes through in the next couple of days (considering Tuck has been informing Delhi students a week in advance)

Just something to keep in mind: if you take advantage of the November 19th date, but weren't adversely affected by Sandy, it might look bad to the adcom (given the language of their email). Edit: I meant the "general" you and not you specifically, hookemhorns. I guess it depends on what you mean by "adversely affected". I am hoping to make the original deadline still, but as a resident in NYC that lives in SoPo (South of the Powerline) and whose office was also without electricity over the past week, there are a few things I have to catch up on... But I do have a few more days to get my application together, so we'll see. Thanks all for clarifying. That definitely falls within the category of "adversely affected."

Have you? The person I spoke with is in charge of scheduling interviews. She gave me a standard answer when I asked her first, but when I pushed her quoting travel plans, she said that the person visiting India has already scheduled interviews in various cities. I did see someone from Bangalore report on BTG that they were invited to interview on 31st Oct, when the Bangalore event is even farther out. So not sure if the 1 week case still holds as it did last year. Anyways, I too hope there are invites yet to come from Tuck. All the best.

I went to the admission event held in Seoul and asked the director direclty. She mentioned invitation will still be"probably" sent out till next week, but 90% of it have been already sent out. I just give up for now to be honest. And what I also found that is quiet a few candidates already visited Tuck to have interview.

Shushu, If you are an international, non Indian, applicant as myself - keep up hope. Im not sure if these forums are a good indication but I have only seen invitations rolled out to American and Indian applicants. I hope that for the rest of international applicants the invitations will start being send in the following days.

Hi Guys, Awfully quiet down here. Did any fellow international candidates interview via Skype recently? If so, could you please elaborate on your experiences, how long was it? Thanks

Woo - my last recommendation just came in with 9 minutes to spare!
I have a number of colleagues and friends who either graduated from Dartmouth or attended Tuck. Can anyone comment on the benefit of additional statements of recommendation and fit at Tuck?

I couldn't find anything on tuck about the deadline for recommenders. HBS for example has said clearly that they will consider a small delay, i.e. one day. Does anyone knows about tuck? This is my last app, and the first one my recommenders did not meet the deadline... Posted from my mobile device

At the Tuck event on campus yesterday, someone asked this question. They mentioned that if any part of the application comes in late, they roll you into the next round. If anything is late going into the April app, they judge you based on everything they have collected at the time of the deadline.

Both of my recommendations were submitted 3 to 5 days after the official deadline. I think Tuck Adcom does understand that most recommenders are very busy, like in my case, my boss could only submit it on the weekend. Hope this helps.

I don't know about Tuck specifically, but I've always heard that you shouldn't send any more materials than a school requests. Schools want to keep it a level playing field for all candidates and don't want to be inundated with materials for which they didn't ask.

Don't deluge the adcom with extra recommendations - they're busy enough as it is, and it shows that you're disregarding the instruction of submitting two recommendations.
