yeah same, congrats on georgetown though, and there's still hope a slight chance at cornell (I'm not giving up on an interview yet).

They call every single admitted student. Calls slowed down today. Congrats to all those admitted!

Just got rejected by Columbia less than a week after my interview there. What a fun little distraction as I wait for the ding from Tuck. Not.

I'm just hoping my application didn't get worse. Last year at least I was one of the 10% considered close enough to be offered feedback. Would at least be nice to know what I'm still screwing up, since I know it's not the two key numbers.

I hope I was good enough to receive feedback. I'd hate to be applying next year and have no idea where my real weaknesses were

Oh I love this thread. Two extremes in human emotion is amply on display today. I'm probably going to be dinged today but I hope to be on the other side soon.

I'm very sorry. You sound like a crazy superstar: 760 with 3.71 ?! What do you think the issue is with your app? Maybe it's a matter of differentiating yourself in terms of your story / essays / interviews?

That's what I would think. My story is pretty boring. I went to a state school (albeit one of the better ones), majored in accounting, and became an accountant at a non-big 4 firm. I don't live in too many extremes, so my essays are therefore pretty dull, despite the $1,300 I spent on editing them this year. My interview at Tuck was uninspiring, although I had a much better one with Columbia recently. Wad dinged by them earlier today.

P.S. To top it off, I'm legacy at Tuck, so even another thing I have going for me that I couldn't have screwed up.
