Turnaround time on decision - Chicago Booth [#permalink]
31 Mar 2010, 10:20
Anyone out there an admit or denial from Chicago's evening MBA program? I'm curious how long it typically takes them to inform you of a decision once you've been interviewed?
I'm so anxious!

I asked and they said you typically hear back 4-6 weeks after application submission.

GMAT: 660 (38 Quant, 42 Verbal, 6 AWA) - I wrote an additional essay on the low quant score Experience: fund of hedge fund analyst for major French bank Industry: Finance (hedge funds) ECs: pediatric volunteer at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, marathoner, CFA (plus lots more in undergrad) Interviewed?/When: Tuesday, March 30th Submitted App?/When: Thursday, March 11th Accepted?/Dinged?: Accepted - received call on Thursday, April 15
My story was a little different because I applied, interviewed and subsequently denied from Chicago Booth's full-time MBA program. Most of my essays for the evening program were therefore focused on what had changed in my story, and why the evening program made sense for me.

But I just re-read your initial message and it seems you were asking about the weekend program. To clarify, I did not apply for weekend but rather evening. Sorry for the confusion! I might not be the best comparison...

Not to rip on Booth or anything.. but alumni usually DO have a bland look! You probably did great!
