Ans: 12

M * (2N + 1) = 184

M is a multiple
N is one of the number

Solving the above eqn, We get N = 11,
So, N is one of 11, 12 or 10.
Only 12 is in the choice

Can be 8 too
two consecutive multiple of a number..
8*11=88
8*12=96
sum is 184
so the number can be 8

Sunni can you please post the correct answer, and the reasoning. I am having a hard time just understanding the question.

divide 184 with all options to see if we get an odd number. two consequtive multiples will ad up to an odd number. answer is 8. 184/8=23
11*8+12*8=184
