Two fair dice are rolled together -- what is the probability of having the sum of their points even?
Just trying out a different way.
We have a total of 36 outcomes
ODD + ODD = EVEN
EVEN + EVEN = EVEN
3P1 * 3P1 = 9 ( three odds on first dice, three odds on second dice)
3P1 * 3P1 = 9 (three evens on first dice, three evens on second dice)
So total favorable 18
Prob = 18/36 =1/2
Is it ok?

Since your dice are fair, since you have equal number of odd and even integers, and since two out of four sums are OK for you, this problem is perfectly symmetrical. P=1/2 due to this symmetry.
