I think the Haas program on paper probably would be a better fit given the reputation and focus of the school but this career path will largely be driven by OCR and more on you're personal networking and alums in the space. You may want to check if either school has this information available. If you are unsure, I am very big on people not living with regret, see if you can defer and if so re-evaluate if you think Haas will have a considerable impact on your career.

Hi, I'm wondering if you spoke alumni who are doing jobs that you want to be doing? That's the only feedback I think will be valuable in this situation. Or really just going directly to the people who are doing the jobs that you want to be doing, regardless of their MBA status. Or the MBA recruiters for those jobs. Ask them if part-time Booth is going to open the doors you want it to open. Will it get the job done? Frankly it's a ticket to a top 5 business school, tied with Stanford right now, and I'm sure they have a Net Impact club. Will the recruiter for your dream job be saying no to Booth and yes to Berkeley? If so then it really might be a good idea for you to consider some full-time options. If youre 34 or younger at the time of entry, I would say you're viable for a host of programs but 1 year programs accept older students ie Kellogg, Cornell. Stanford MSX or Sloan fellows might also be a better fit for age profile. If you have any inclination with European schools they have a different view on older students. IMD might be a good fit along with others. If you didn't try private tutoring for the GMAT I would recommend doing that, I've been doing private verbal tutoring for 16 years and seen the massive changes in their performance, which has opened doors.
