It did not show that I had checked the CPA box. Don't think it is as important as the GMAT score. I sent my official GMAT score report to UCLA (I believe they required it) so I would not be too worried. Plus, the application won't let you submit if the score is missing. I am leaning towards believing that the application is having rendering issues when the information is put into the .pdf form.

I remember last year during apps a few PDF proofs had weird renderings there GPAs were missing or address fields. Everything online checked out okay though, I think it's just a system glitch.

To current students/ alumni, I've exceeded word limit in one of the essays by 37 words (5%). Is that okay?

I am going to write to the school about this so that they are aware at least. Hoping everything reaches them.

I couldn't convert my application to PDF at all forget not seeing something in the app. It just kept throwing an error. I contacted Tech Support and they said that it has to be done from the chools end. So I will send an e-mail to UCLA informing them of the problem. I went over my application 5+ times just to make sure it was all there. But I still can't be sure.

I called the admissions office just to check that there wasn't something wrong with my online application. Apparently one's GMAT score is not included in the printed application proof. So, it looks like we're good to go! Anyone know how soon they start sending out interview invitations?

For question 1 (what events or persons.....) How did you interpet "character"? I thought of it as personality traits but one of my friends noted that it could refer to moral character. What do you guys think? Posted from my mobile device

But mostly it is open to interpretation of the candidate I guess.

Posted from my mobile device I think moral character is a subset of personality traits. There are other personality traits too that you'd be proud to share too. I took my essay in the non-moral character direction - talked about some virtues that I demonstrate, and then talked about why those virtues are important in my personal/professional life.

got a confirmation email today saying they received my app. it also says in the email that interview invites will go out mid-dec: Quote: We anticipate sending the bulk of our interview invitations by mid-December. If you are selected for an interview you will receive an email from our office with details. Remember that interviewing on- or off-campus carries the same weight in the admissions process.
