I didn't get one, but already got ones from Darden and Ross. My best guess is that Anderson will send them to those who decided to attend.

I received mine a week ago, and a week after I recieved the one from Ross. I'll be matriculating and Anderson.

Ditto. Was going to wait and apply next year, but it's my first choice due to location and the la network.

Guys,
can anyone provide insights on the placement of international students in the US market post Anderson MBA? I know it might depend on the sector, but what is your knowledge about this topic in general. Do internationals face hard times visa wise? Is the career service at Anderson strong and active when it comes to placing internationals in the US?
Thank you in advance.

From the research i've done and from the information i've gathered on Anderson from students there, Anderson does a pretty good job of placing international students compared to other MBA programs that, like UCLA, primarily place in their region (California). However, being better than a lot of other MBA programs doesn't mean they're necessarily great at it... MBA job placement for internationals in the US is tricky for almost all schools due to difficulty of hiring companies getting visas for their employees.

This is actually a hot political topic, so who knows... by the time you graduate it could ( I hope) be significantly easier to get a work visa.

UCLA Anderson does a good job of placing internationals in the US.

From what I know, many of my international classmates received offers from Citibank, Amazon, Mattel, Symantec, and various other companies.

That being said, I also know at least one of my classmates who is returning to his country to accept an offer from a company that he really wants to work for.

Your experience may vary but UCLA Anderson does place many internationals in the US.

dc3828102 can you help me reach out to some of these international students from your class? Please PM me if you can.
Thanks.

Hi guys,
How long it takes for your documents' status to reflect that these documents are received? I have my documents delivered a week ago but the status hasn't changed. And tomorrow is deadline ...

Hi there! No worries. I had the same situation: it took admissions about a week to change my documents status. I had the same worries as you have now and I wrote to the admissions about it and they confirmed that they received my package, but because of the volume of the documents they receive it takes them time to proceed with the docs.
Also, I have seen somewhere ( either in the admissions blog or in the Blast e-mail) that they plan to prolong the period for sending the docs, so only the deposit is due today.
You can certainly write to the adcom about your concerns to be on the safe side.
