This may be kind of an odd question.

I'm filling out the UCLA application (it's my first one) and I noticed there are many optional fields. It asks for your employment history, a scanned copy of your college transcript, college/post-college activities, etc...but all these questions are optional.

Is anyone filling in ALL fields? I'm thinking of just filling out the required fields and let my resume and essays explain the rest, but was wondering if this will hurt me. :?:

I'm filling out all but the scanned transcript part. Just to be safe.
