UCLA Diversity Weekend Applicants [#permalink]

Hey, just wondering who applied to the UCLA diversity weekend? How many people do you think they are going to let in?

One of those diversity programs that is sponsored by the school in order to give minority applicants an opportunity to sit in on classes, meet adcoms, professors and students, etc. It normally requires an application and essays in order to be considered.

Not me...I think they let everyone know on November 9th. I applied November 2 in the middle of the afternoon, so something tells me I have a very slim chance at getting in..apparently they review applications in the order that they recieve them, so the sooner the better.

did you recieve an email saying your applications has been recieved etc? anything.... I did not get any feedback.. I submitted my app on Oct 29th..

I got no confirmation either...I was so paranoid that I called and made them tell me they recieved it, they did

I did not apply to the diversity weekend but I went for the Weekend for Women at Duke. It was great!!

that's pretty hardcore. You have to fill out an application AND write an essay to get into a prospectives weekend??? Haas just lets you go if you want to go.

and it is pretty competitive to get into too! I was placed on the Duke's waitlist before they decided to take me off.. things we do for BSchool

Just make sure y'all applying to Haas don't miss their minority diversity workshop weekend coming up very soon (this weekend or next, I believe). No applications necessary!

I just recieved an email stating that notifications would be sent Nov 14 instead of Nov 9...did everyone get this? Or does this mean I have been waitlisted?
