Does any one know know of people being admitted to UCLA FEMBA with low gmats below the 80% range mentioned ? The 80% range for 2013 is 640-770.

Is that even possible ?

I don't know anyone admitted to UCLA below the 10th percentile and I'm not on the west coast either. However, I'd think that they'd have very high GPA's toward the 90th percentile there. That said, it's an uphill battle in order to get in when the GMAT is in the bottom 10 percentile.

I know someone who was admitted below 640 GMAT. She has really really strong work experience and went to a top tier undergrad with an average GPA. Definitely helped her out.

I know someone that is graduating next year from the FEMBA that got a 550 on the GMAT but had 3.9 at a lower tier UC school. I, on the other hand, am applying for entry Fall 2013 and have a 670 on the GMAT with just under a 3.0 from Berkeley, so we'll see. It's either UCLA, USC or no MBA for me... I really don't think anything other program in L.A. is worth the dough.
