Hello,

I was recently accepted to both UCLA and CMU. I received some $ from CMU so both programs cost about the same for me.
My background is in engineering and I'm going into finance... I can work on both east or west coast so location is not really an issue for me... What else should I be considering and where would you choose? Thanks!

Hi powerikk,
I am joining ucla for the incoming year. Thus i may be biased
I am sure cmu mba is a very good mba program and recruiting figures are pretty well especially in dc-ny area.
Ucla mba is also strong at finance. For name recognition, ucla may be one step ahead.
When it comes to the City, La has the weather, big city, opportunies advantage. But, living expenses in la may be higher...
To sum, I would choose UCLA MBA.
