UGA's Macc Program [#permalink] New post 02 Jan 2010, 16:44
I've read that UGA's program is very highly ranked (top 10), and seeing that I'm an in-state student it would be very cost effective to go there for my Macc, with Georgia State as my backup school. I have yet to take the GMAT but here are my current credentials:

Overall GPA: 3.33 (includes grades from when I was in engineering)
Accounting GPA: 3.5
GMAT: Will take in the fall
Work Experience: 2 internships at 2 different accounting firms, one of them being my father's firm

What are my chances at getting into UGA's Macc program. Their website says that a 550 minimum is required for serious consideration. Is it that difficult to get 600+ on the GMAT?
