UK MSF VS US MSF [#permalink] New post 20 Feb 2014, 06:51
Hi, I am student from Taiwan will graduate this year without working experience.
GPA:3.8 TOEFL :96 GMAT:680

Already got the UK MSF condition offer from:

University of Edinburgh- accounting & finance
Cass Business School- finance

I was wandering which MSF in US is better than the above and I should apply for.

Washington University in Saint Louis (Olin Business school)
John Hopkins (Carey Business School)
Case Western
Penn State

Hope someone could provide me suggestion.
Thank you

Edinburgh is not really known for finance. Cass although in London is not the best school in London or UK for finance. You have LSE, Oxbridge, Warwick, UCL, Imperial kids before Cass.

In the US, you should be able to get in Tulane, Rochester probably. Don't go to Penn State. WashU deadline has passed. Hopkins, although a great name. It is not a good business school. Case Western is known for engg than finance.

The possibility of you getting a job in the U.K or U.S with a one year degree from these colleges would be low. So, you will probably head back to Asia to work. So, I would recommend going to the school that has the best reputations in Asia. I don't know what that might be.
