Hi guys,

I had the same problem and here's how I got it to work:

Basically the software uses this thing called Nalperion Services for some kind of security.

Try this:
1. First, we need to confirm that you have administrator rights on your computer – you need this for a successful install
2. If you do have admin rights then check if you already have a file called nlssrv32.exe:
a. Open up Windows Explorer
b. Go to C:/WINDOWS/system32/ and check the directory contents
3. If the file is there, then you need to delete the Nalperion Service and try installing GMATPrep again. Do this as follows:
a. Open up your Control Panel and go to Performance and Maintenance and then select Administrative Tools
b. Double click Services
c. Go down the list to NLS Service (Description:Nalpeiron Licensing Service), and delete it
d. Now try and install GMATPrep® again

Hopefully this should sort the issue.

Re: unable to install new gmat prep software --Please advice [#permalink]
Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of has encountered the following problem as seen in the attached file.

After Installing the latest version of the GMATPrep Software, that message appears. In practice I cannot start any practice exam.
I have tried following several steps advised in the forum, without success.

Any help very much appreciated.

Many thanks!

The issue is with your Java - please download the latest version from Sun.
