My overall score is a 760, but the breakdown was 51 (V) and 44 (Q). I've been told that MBA admissions officers care more about the quant score than verbal, so do you think my breakdown merits me retaking the test? I was feeling a bit woozy in the early morning and I know I have the ability to do much better than 44 on quantitative. My only concern about retaking is that there is the possibility of me not repeating my perfect score on verbal (which I am very proud of)!

What do you guys recommend I do at this point? How do you feel admissions officers will analyze my unbalanced 760?

hi voodoojohn, if I were you, I wouldn't worry about the score. 760 is an awesome score that most people will kill for. In fact, your score is not "unbalanced" at all. With a 760, I'd say just focus on your application and your work and you'll be A-okay.

voodoojohn,

I second bakfed's motion to move forward with the other pieces of your application. A 760 far exceeds the average score for the top schools. That said, you might as well devote your time to some compelling essays to back up your strong GMAT score. If you can do that, you'll be able to pick whichever school you like.
