POE results in A and E left. A breaks //ism: "They can protect X while assessing Y, helping to do Z, and supporting W". Simply not //, whereas E: "They can protect X and assist Y, helping to do Z, and support W". It´s a bit odd but proper, nevertheless.

It´s E in my view.

E. and assist the assessment of the deal’s business rationale, helping to develop an integrated plan for the business, and support
helping to develop is right here because the assessment helps developing the plan.

A for me.

A. while assessing the business rationale of a deal, helping to develop an integrated business plan, and supporting

B. while also assessing the business concerns for a deal, as well as helping the development of an integrated business plan, and to support the – use of also is excessive.

C. and assess the rationale of a deal from a business perspective, (to) help the development of an integrated business plan, and supporting relevant – help requires ‘to’ in infinitive form.

D. while facilitating the assessment of a business rationale of a deal, help to develop a business plan of integration, and supporting the – Parallelism issues – facilitating the; help a; supporting the

E. and assist (in) the assessment of the deal’s business rationale, helping to develop an integrated plan for the business, and support – assist (in) the assessment of the deal’s business rationale.

I am still not clear why E is wrong here, we can see E as below,

Unbiased third-party "clean" teams can protect sensitive data and assist the assessment of the deal's business rationale, helping to develop an integrated plan for the business, and support negotiations.

here clean teams can protect and assist (parallel verbs) ; helping to develop and support (parallel verbs); Please help me understand how to spot such errors further.
