Under Essay Word Limits Question [#permalink] New post 07 Oct 2012, 13:15
Most people ask about being over the word limits. But what about being well below the word limits. For example, having around 600 words on an essay with a max of 750.

If you have effectively and persuasively answered the essay prompt in 600 words instead of 750 words, it is an evidence of your writing skills. It demonstrates how you can present your ideas in using fewer words than you are allowed to. I don't think you have anything to worry about.:)
I hope it helped.

Oh,,, here I can't really say I agree. More than anything, it looks like laziness, or lack of something to say. I mean imagine someone on the AdCom reading essay after essay, and then they see one that is a LOT shorter than all the others... it usually (there are always exceptions) will look like "less" no matter how you slice it.
