Univ accept without interview? [#permalink] New post 19 Mar 2006, 07:05
Hi.

I was wondering whether any schools in the TOP 30. say a school such as USC- Marshall ever make an admission offer without interview ?

IS 100% of the incomming class interviewed ? couz Marshall says that its notficaton date begins from march 27th ( for the deadline that i had applied) and i havent yet received an interview call. And i am starting to expect a 'ding' now.........

k12345,

USC has stated in Accepted.com chats that its interview process is by invitation only and that not everyone who is admitted is interviewed. They have also stated that they will often give courtesy interviews to applicants who make campus visits. If you have not visited their campus you could ask them whether they would consider interviewing you if you make one.

Regarding other top schools, the trend is definitely toward increasing the percentage of applicants who get interviewed. It's a valuable data point.
