I'm not familiar with the GSAL program, but I would expect that these classes would not earn you any credit once you're in b-school. Most universities' b-schools are run fairly separately from the rest of the school, and have their own specialized classes, so your GSAL work probably won't apply. I'm noy 100% sure.
But it could be worth taking a few classes and earning a high GPA to make up for your past GPA, like you suggested (whether it's part of the GSAL or at another school). That's definitely something that I would recommend.
