it went fine [#permalink] New post 27 Nov 2007, 08:12
Hey,

Just got done with my interview. It was relaxed. I wish I was in cleveland, but now I am in the north sea on a ship for business reasons. So had the voice gap on the satellite phone. But it was fine. The same questions as usual. But do u know what is their acceptance rate.

I don't know Smith's acceptance rate either.

Thanks for the details. Good luck.

Smith Essays [#permalink] New post 11 Dec 2007, 08:54
I'd appreciate if someone can give helpful pointers on following essays.

1. How will you contribute to the legacy of the Robert H Smith School of Business?
Should my response be along the lines of
--I will apply the values and ethics of Smith School in my professional career
--I will be an enthusiastic ambassador on behalf of Smith school

If salary was not a factor and your living expenses were covered, what would you do for a living and how would you spend your time?
Can I talk about how I would involve myself with my non-profit work on a full-time basis?

If you could be the leader of an organization, what organization would you choose, and why? What changes would you make to enhance the organization and what current strategies would you retain?
Can this be as outlandish as "I would like to lead the United Nations and solve the world's problems"? Or does it need to be pragmatic and related to my past experiences?

Thanks,
Karthik
