University Of Nevada-Las Vegas [#permalink]

It's not an Elite school but the prospects for employment are great over there in Vegas. I would like to apply there for MACC because I am from Macau (known as the oriental Las Vegas in China) and I would like to work in the gambling industry in the future.
They also have a joint program with MBA and hotel management.
Anybody studying there would like to comment?

Hello,
I am also thinking about a course in statistics or OR.
Las Vegas is def. a great option looking at the size of gambling industry. I guess there will be a great potential for statisticians and also terrific amount of data available.
I am currently into my 2nd year MBA and have a UG in Capital Markets(International). Seriously looking at Univ of Nevada.
Hjort, can you please throw some light on this school?

On U.S.News it says this school is on the 4th tier in national public schools. It's not even near elite. However, I found that the hotel management program is No. 1 in the nation. So if that's what you're majoring in, jointing it with MBA, it will probably be worth it to stay.
