A - compares skills with disinclination.
B - 'they' appears to point to skills
E - wordy. 'the weakness of their analytical skills' is awkward.
D - lacks parallelism in 'they lack...' and 'their ... are weak'

I would go with C

Should be D. E change the meaning and is not concise as well.
