could you pls underline the piece to be corrected or atleast provide option A.

As far as I remember the correct answer was 'C'. This was earlier discussed.

I do not remember it being discussed in this forum earlier - please provide me the link, if you find it somewhere. I have edited my post to underline the portion to be corrected.

I already have the OA and OE too (this is from Kap 800) - I posted this question to warrant some discussion on this, rather than getting to know the OA.

Please explain why you chose C and how did you reject other choices.

D could be correct....

If "the use of...." is taken into account, "allows" make sense.

However, if "handsets" is taken into account.... then we need to use
"allow"....

Re: Unlike the use of headset telephones, which allow drivers to [#permalink]
I beg to differ.

For C to be correct, the sentence should be :

Unless headset telephones, which allow drivers to keep their hands on the wheel, are used all drivers WILL BE prohibited from using portable phones while driving.
How can we have " are prohibited"?So we are essentially saying that "Unless X are used, all drivers are prohibited....?

Comments anyone.

Best.
