I know sooner is probably better, but I have a ton going on this week/weekend, so not a lot of prep time. But the interview is at Yale and from what I've heard the interviews are toward the casual end of the spectrum, not many hard-hitting questions.

I would agree with the first two responses, specially since you said that Yale interviews are not very involved.

If you can get 6-8 hrs over the weekend, I think you should be able to do a good job.

Good Luck!

I would do it sooner. Why give them a reason to put off your admission??

First of all, congratulations. If Yale hands out all of their decisions at the same time on the decision date, then it shouldn't really matter when you interview. On the other hand, I recall reading that some people have been rejected throughout the admissions process, so it probably makes sense to interview sooner rather than later.
