Hi Guys,

Can anyone explain the difference between usage of do and have?

She has visited more places than I have.

She speaks better than I do.

These are some simple examples. But I would like to know how does one identify usage of do and have in GMAT SC's

TIA

From the examples you have provided, it seems like:
have is used for present-prefect tense (has visited)
do is used for simple present tense (speaks)

Also, might be helpful to think of them with what is implied...

I.e.

She has visited more places than I have (visited).

She speaks better than I do (speak).
