I would suggest you to contact them directly. Please update their answer too, which would be helpful to other people.

Re: USC MACC Admissions Question! [#permalink]
Did you ever happen to hear back on this question? I emailed a while back but never got a response. Was hoping to find an answer before the UCLA Extension drop date or I'd try one of USC's on-campus sessions. Tried some former students but none had gone through summer session and all started with Intermediate Accounting.

I assumed both parts are required (it's 2.0 units per course) but I was more concerned whether or not "Principles of Accounting" even counted as the prerequisite "Intro to Financial Accounting." For example, Glendale Community Colleges offers "Financial Accounting 101" and "Basic Accounting 110." Seems like the latter is for non-business majors and I'm wondering if the same is true for UCLA's extension course.

Hey Blerta,

How is it going?
So it means 2 courses of the" Principles of Accounting" is equivalent to "Intro of Financial Accounting"?
I took "Intro of Accounting" when I was in college and it was 3 credits. Is it considered equivalent and enough?

Hi,

I contacted them a few months ago and they said they accept UC Berkeley extension courses and those are only 3 credit semesters each I believe. I hope that helps.

Best,
