USC MBA.PM-interview??? [#permalink]

Hi everyone-I applied for R2 MBA.PM & just received an email today asking me to submit an optional video. Has anyone else received this and if so, do you know anything about it...does this mean I'm a maybe and they need this to confirm? The R2 deadline for PM was just ~1 wk ago so I can't imagine they've already gone through and determined potential waitlisters but maybe...?

I don't know the exact data point or selection process for videos, but I applied in round 1 for marshall.pm and also received a video invite from a 3rd party web site. (a few weeks after submitting)
I opted not to do it because I had already committed to ucla femba, but that said i think it couldn't hurt to do the video interview.

just today actually (earlier than their late february deadline), accepted. unfortunately they don't give out any money for the marshall.pm program

I just started freaking out a little when I received the email about the video because I hadn't heard about this step previously.

For those that got the video invite, do you live outside of LA? I wonder if geographic location has something to do with it. I didn't get an email

I'm sure I will submit a video. Just wish it was a more traditional interview format. I submitted the day before the deadline (maybe Jan 31st?). I'm local in Los Angeles.

@Paradox. You should call the school. Perhaps they got the wrong email address or something.

No, I received the email & live in the LA area. I submitted my app. right around the R2 deadline last week.

Mine still says "Submitted". However, the notes under the Submission Status changed to "Reminder: If you haven't already, please submit all necessary test scores and supplemental materials, and check this screen for any updates/changes to your application status. Once your application is complete, a decision will be rendered according to the decision notification schedule for the program to which you have applied." Hey guys, on the apply yourself website it says decision rendered, but there is no decision anywhere on the site. Any idea of where I can go to see the decision?
