Essays You are required to submit two essays in support of your application. Essay topics are given below. Please answer the following in 350-500 words. Please answer all sub-sections of each questions.
1. Describe in detail a situation where your actions had a profound impact on others in an organization (school, place of employment, extracurricular activity). What personal attributes were most helpful in addressing this situation? Did this experience involve any self-realization or self-actualization?
2. Keeping in mind the ever changing landscape of the business realm, what is your strategy to ensure your personal success in this environment? Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 and 15 years from the completion of the UTD Cohort MBA Program? How will the Cohort MBA Program be instrumental in achieving your goals?

Propose a business plan with an initial investment in capital that is equivalent to the amount of scholarship you may receive based on your current qualifications. Assess the growth and profitability of your venture 5, 10, 15 years from the present date.
The scholarship that may be awarded to you is an investment made in you by the Cohort MBA Program and the UTD School of Management. Describe how they will benefit from this investment.
Each Full-Time MBA class begins with a pre-term session called LEAD (Leadership Enhancement and Academic Development) Camp. LEAD Camp prepares students for their first semester in the program's 53-credit-hour curriculum. The Full-Time MBA program features a full-time/daytime core curriculum that students complete in 16 months.
A new class of Full-Time MBA students begins every August. Students follow a lock-step progression through the program, taking all of their core classes together Monday through Thursday of every week. Students' first semester of coursework addresses the program's core curriculum. Students begin taking elective courses in their second semester. Elective courses are offered in the evenings beginning at 4 p.m.
The MBA degree is obtained by completing the School of Management's 53-hour program, which consists of 29 hours of core courses and 24 hours of elective courses. Students may choose a focus area within the 24 hours of electives, but are not required to do so.
