Validity of GMATPrep software score [#permalink]
21 Dec 2006, 06:20
I just gave my first practice GMAT prep test and scored a 720. I am however surprised to see this score, as I managed to get a 48 in quant even with 15 mistakes out of 41 and got a 40 in verbal with 13 mistakes.
So is the 720 score really accurate. Is it possible to get a similar score on the actual exam with the number of number of mistakes I made?

Guara..
I posted the very same question sveral weeks ago, getting low 700s despite getting an incredible number of questions wrong. I was reassured that this could be normal and let me tell you, I actually ended up scoring higher than this on the real test! As long as you are able to get to the more difficult questions I believe that it doesn't really matter in the end how many you get wrong as at that point you are hopefully just differentiating between scores in the 700s.... don't fret out about, I did, and for no reason!
