Vault's buzz books: useful or not? [#permalink] New post 06 Dec 2007, 09:34
Hi there,

Are Vault's buzz books useful? Did anyone buy them? I'm looking for more material on Wharton, Columbia, Stern, Chicago and MIT (also stuff i could use in my essays), and I was wondering whether these books might be useful.

Living in Europe, I haven't had the chance to visit campuses.

Any thoughts?

PS: if you have other sources deemed reliable, please let me know (website excepted of course, I thought about that one myself :) )

If you read the entire threads on schools here you probably pick out some good info. You can always talk to students and applicants to those schools. Rhyme has posted tons of helpful info on Chicago. There are a few admits to Columbia already that can probably provide some insight. There are some active members on here who go to stern.

I know that chicago and duke threads both have tons of great info.

I personally think those guides are a rip off. They arent going to provide much info that can't be found on the schools website or by searching around on BW, here, and some of the consultants blogs...all of which are free.
