How can you finish the verbal section with 20 minutes to spare?

When I took my GMAT Prep, I finished Quant with 27 minutes to spare and Verbal with 23. But with verbal my work shift had ended and I had to log out because the next guy had come. I ended up with 49Q 38V. Not so bad :D

I wish I were as intelligent as you.

gurpreetsingh you will do better on real GMAT, just keep on practicing and revising your concepts. Don't be upset and chill man! You can do it!

Hi suyashjhawar,

Congrats on really conquering the GMAT and providing a detailed debrief. I am sure your LSAT and Law background helped a great deal in the score. But it does show that commitment & desire can lead one to the right scores. Mine is a 760 and I visualize that result everyday.

have fun.

hahahaha .....dude i have not yet given...i have just shared the link...
Wish your words are true...i dont which world i'll be even if i get 45+ in Verbal :P

To get a 51 on Verbal you have to answer nearly all questions right. On the other hand you can answer 5 questions wrong in the quantitative part and still get a 51. One reason for could be that the verbal part is not increasing its difficultness as much as the quantitative part, because a too hard verbal part may sound more awkward than difficult.

I suddenly have a spark of inspiration.

I think I am willing to take bets with people $125 at a time. If they score < 45 in verbal I keep $125 and if they get > 45 I double their money for them. This is of course a service and favour I am doing because I clearly put upto $125 of my own at risk & at the same time give someone the added motivation to go ahead and score well in the paper. Win Win for them !!

Of course, no lawyers allowed to participate, coz (a) apparently they always get v > 45 and (b) I am sure they'll find a way not to pay me.

Nice game. How about giving us $125 when we score <45 and taking $250 when we score >45.
