I took the Kaplan
GMAT Test (premier live) & performed very badly in the Verbal. Out of 41 questions I could attempt only 37 (in the given time) out of which I got 16 wrong (8 SC,6 RC, 3 CR) . I know I am week in the verbal section & have only practiced 150 questions in the Kaplan live
. I still have OG12
left, but now that I know that my concepts are not very strong I don't want to waste the questions in OG. I want to work on my concepts first.
Here is my Self assessment:
I find sentence correction really hard & the questions take a lot of time. RC has always been my Achilles heel. I am comfortable with CR though, the strategies in Kaplan
are good & I think I can do well with more practice.
I am planning to buy MGMAT RC
, MGMAT CR
& Powerscore CR
. However, I am confused because these books do not have enough practice questions (as from what I got to know by reading different posts on the forum).
Is this the right move , is the book selection OK?
