I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same, but quite a few of my "View First Unread Post" links aren't redirecting properly. They pop-up the 404-type error GMATClub set up: "We cannot locate the page you requested. Please check the links below or contact us." The interesting part is that some links do still work. I've been noticing it for a few days now but I haven't been able to figure out why some of the links automatically work and why some don't.

I did notice that the links that don't work have the following format:

http gmatclub dot com/forum/thread.html&view=unread#unread

But the ones that do have this format:

http gmatclub dot com/forum/thread.html?sid=alphanumeric string that I assume identifies my account&view=unread#unread

In order to use the feature, I've just been copying the ?sid=string and inserting it between the thread name and view command. Not that inconvenient but still.

Any thoughts why this could be happening? Any suggestions for something I could change on my end to get it to work automatically again?

Thank you. I will look into it. It seems to be working with me with FireFox.

I see your system specs are a bit different:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.99 Safari/533.4

Thanks bb. Yep, I usually use Chrome (but haven't had problems before this week). I just logged into Firefox [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)] but see the same issue (links are missing the sid and misdirect on Firefox, too). At least on my account. Wonder what I did.
