Today, I was denied of visa(214b). I didn't get any objective feedback from consular officer. I still have a chance to re-apply in a few weeks. Wondering, has anyone here ever been denied of US visa and why?
Can the b-school anyhow assist me on that issue?

Dilshod,
Sad to hear that you got denied in getting your visa. I got denied too.(it was 3 years ago). They like to do that. The officer should give you the list of reasons why you got denied. Don't get frustrated, just try again. I got denied fist time because I didn't know how much money i'll spend daily on food in the States and also the officer couldn't believe that tuition at BYUI was so low. I showed up next day with a pile of printed documents that could answer every stupid question possible and an officer didn't even looked at it. Just gave my visa and wish good luck.
If you need something specific from BYU, let me know I can contact my friends in Provo and they can get it for me.

I'm from the Ukraine. I am a student at BYU-Idaho(3 hours away from Provo). I'm working on getting my double Bach(BS and BA) from BYUI. I'm in Provo a lot (friends). When are you coming?
