Visiting Kellogg after getting waitlisted [#permalink] New post 08 Apr 2008, 06:28
Do you guys think it is a bad idea? This is what the FAQ states

Do I need to visit Kellogg and meet with someone in the Admissions Office?

Please note that visiting the Kellogg School or talking with an admissions officer is not a requirement in order to be admitted from the wait list. However, you are always welcome to visit Kellogg to attend a class and tour the Jacobs Center. If you wish to communicate with a member of the Admissions Office, we ask that you please contact our office by phone and request to speak with an admissions officer.

It sounds like they may be throwing out hints and it can't hurt. They want to see how committed you are and this will show your commitment. Being on the waitlist typically means that there is something the adcom is unsure about and this might help you sell yourself and solidy and admit.
