Visiting schools on fridays [#permalink]

Do most schools have classes on fridays? I ask because my undergrad business school did not, but the way my "MBA tour 2007" schedule is working out, I have to hit a school on friday.

I'd recommend checking with the schools you are planning to attend. For example, Kellogg has campus tours and classes on fridays.

Friday is generally a good day to hit the campus pubs. You can meet more students and build some contacts. It will provide you more essay fodder than a choreographed campus visit program.

You wont have much luck on summer Fridays - but when school is in session, definitely check the schedule as a lot of conferences, seminars and student club interactions occur in Fridays. You might be lucky enough to get invited to some of these and build your networks.
