Waitlist sequence number [#permalink]
29 Mar 2012, 08:27
Hey everyone, I am another wait listed contender with hope in my heart and questions in my mind. Grad school on the wait list description page says that it's discouraged to spam their mails with questions about process. I don't want to look uncivilized, but I really want to know my waitlist number (priority sequence) in order to plan my actions towards other school. Do grad schools in US share such an information as sequence number of wait listed applicants? I want to ask but I don't see any reasons to do that If I wouldn't get any answer. Waitlist position makes me a bit paranoic about my decisions, lol.
Thanks in advance.

Don't ask, and assume you could be anywhere. They will not share that information with you, and will most likely not like the question. Only email them if you have something important to update them with. Read my post here on the process: waitlist-guide-to-earning-yourself-an-admit-129448.htmlYou're just going to have to wait this one out. That's why they call it the waitlist. Sorry, but good luck!
