Wake Forest MSA or Northeastern MSA/MBA? [#permalink]
26 Jun 2012, 16:40
I'm really interested in both of these programs and I was wondering if I could get some insight/opinion on each of them? Thanks!

Guess it depends on your background. If you've already got a couple of year's work-ex, I'd say you could take up the MBA/MS route and be set for your career. Northeastern, although not THE BEST is still a good school(based on personal research). Although I would take up MSA at Wake Forest anyday. I myself was considering the MSA or MBA at Wake Forest for many reasons - 1.) Faculty/curriculum -very focussed structured etc etc 2.) Location in NC -beautiful campus plus a college town feel 3.) 100% placement rate for MSA. You could always continue on to an MBA at wake forest and complete it within one year given that you'd be able to waive certain courses through your MSA at Wake Forest.

Thanks for the response. As much as I like wake forest, I think the NEU msamba would be better for me since they also have 100 percent job placement in boston and you get two degrees for the price of one no prior work experience required. I find wake really beautiful since the campus is gorgeous but I don't think I'd really like living in north carolina

NE places 100% in Boston? Wow..thats news to me...share some links to it. The last i browsed for their stats, they didn't go beyond 60-70% placement for their recent class. But maybe i overlooked..Ofcourse Boston with its better developed financial sector (assuming you are in the business field) remains a better choice than NC. Good luck anyway
