E. Watching the TV or to work on the computer leads to overeating

This can be solved by simply eliminating each choice and arriving at the last remaining. In all choices, the two quantities "watching the TV" and "working on the computer" must agree in parallel construction. Secondly, the usage of "or" does not make the subject plural. The subject shall be plural with "or"

A. "watching the TV" and "working on the computer" are parallel. "leads" is singular verb. Correct.
B. Parallel construction correct. "lead" is incorrect.
C. The usage of "and" makes the subject plural. Using "leads" is incorrect now.
D. The usage of "and" makes the subject plural. Using "leads" is incorrect now.
E. "Watching the TV" and "to work on the computer" are not parallel. Incorrect.

The correct answer is A.
