As an Indian applicant, if I don't hear from Wharton today, I am assuming a ding. the interviews in Mumbai are between Nov 6-8 , placing today as the maximum 1 week deadline I am working with.

I anticipate many invites will go out today. The invites on Monday would have been pre fed in the system. Monday/Tuesday they were closed. They would have reviewed more applications yesterday and today and tomorrow there should be a decent number of invites going out.

Same here. I hope we get the invite.
Good luck to all of us

Just received an reply from Wharton

Thank you for your email. Invitations to interview can go out any time between now and November 9th. Unfortunately at this time we cannot update you on the status of any particular invitation.

Still do not know whom to trust College or logic of getting an invitation by today.

Haha. Just relax. I have not received an invite yet but I am still hopeful.
I could have given you that response. If they say 9th November, they wont tell you before that and you can get an invite on 9th November. Never say never. Cheerio!

Based on what I've seen on the thread as well as the gmat applicant tracker for wharton, I believe we still have a decent amount of invites waiting to be sent out. My guess is that there will be one wave on Monday and then one final wave on the final day.

I did a quick count on the Wharton RD 1 applicant tracker:
# of applications submitted: 120
# of invited to interviews: 31
total: 151

Meaning that around 20% of people who have submitted applications have received invites. Of course the underlying assumption here (thanks CR) is that everyone who received an invite has updated...so to account for this, add on another 10-15 people who forgot to update and we are at around 25-30% invites. Per Wharton, they plan to send out invites to 40% of applicants. (http://poetsandquants.com/2012/08/19/40 ... team-test/)

On a range of pessimistic to optimistic, I would say 25%-50% of the total invites are still waiting to be sent out.

Lastly, as a pt of comparison, I checked out Booth’s RD 1, which we know sends out invites all at once. I feel like Booth and Wharton are fairly equal in competitiveness.
# of applications submitted: 79
# of invited to interview: 52
# of denied without interview: 11
Total: 142
52/142 = 36.7%. Assuming 45% of applicants receive interviews (range is 40-50% per: http://www.mbamission.com/blog/2011/04/ ... kurt-ahlm/) This means that 12 people did not update their statuses. This provides some support for the 10-15 figure I used above for Wharton.

Yeah – It’s been a slow morning at work but I too, lose a bit of hope as each day passes by. This is not a robust analysis, and reading it over I spotted a couple logic holes…but bottomline I am fairly confident in saying we still have a considerable amount of invites waiting to be sent out. It’s not over till it’s over!

Me too! I'm a long-time lurker on the forum, but just got the good news.

I'm in Northern California. Stats below:

M/25 at matriculation/730/3.3/Top 15 US School/High Tech/South Asian

Anyone know if there are differences interviewing on vs. off-campus?

I applied in R1. I just logged in and my status was changed to "Complete - Round 2". There was a link below the Recommendation Providers that said my decision was available. I clicked on the link and a blank page came up with the Print and Close buttons. Nothing else. Thinking it was a browser issue, I logged out, closed all the windows, and logged back in. This time, my status reverted back to "Complete - Round 1" and the link was gone. I have no clue what to make of it, but I don't think it's a good sign. Has this happened to anyone else?

Congratulations to everyone who received invites today. Str1der, you were right :)

To those of you still waiting -- hopefully there are more invites next week and maybe even tomorrow if the adcom is feeling generous. Good luck!
